With the Pride Parade just two weeks around the corner, there’s no better time to debut this #PeopleForPronto showstopper. In living proof that you can #GoPronto in a dress, we proudly present one of Seattle’s most beloved drag queens: the one and only Mama Tits!
Quick bio:
Seattle’s skyscraper hostess, the one and only Mama Tits, is the creation of Brian D. Peters. For the past five years and counting, Mama Tits has been one of the key hosts of the seattleprideparade. Mama Tits is also the Producer/Director and Star of Seattle’s most popular and longest-running weekly drag brunch, Mimosas with Mama.
How did you and Pronto meet?
I was walking down the street one day and came across the lovely green bikes lined up neatly and it caught my attention. I am so glad to see them in Seattle!
Why are you a fan of bike share?
I think they are an amazing option to offer visitors and locals as an easy way to get around a bike friendly city such as Seattle
What is your favorite bike-related memory?
Getting my first bike, It was a hand me down from my older brother it was a chrome mongoose with blue trim! I was so cool back then!
Pronto as a prop in Mimosas with Mama. What would that look like?
Hilarious is what it would look like, Drag Queens on bikes! Ha!
If Pronto had a soundtrack, what would it be?
Something fun and free flowing, something that evokes the fun of being a two-wheeled warrior exploring the urban jungle we call cities!
If you could offer a few words of encouragement to folks who haven’t ridden in years to get back and ride, what would they be?
It’s like they say, once you learn to ride a bike you never forget! Its easy and comes back to you in a flash!
