#GoPronto Launch Events
Get ready to #GoPronto, Seattle!
By now, you may have seen one (or more) of the 50 Pronto stations that have popped up around town. And hopefully, you’ve signed on as an annual member!
On the afternoon of Monday, October 13th, our system will officially launch (yay!). We have a number of events planned to celebrate. Below, you’ll find all the activities centered around our launch. Here’s to seeing you #GoPronto with us!
Launch Day Ride Outs | October 13th @ 12 PM
Take the first Pronto ride in your neighborhood! We have limited spots available for group rides to help deploy the bikes, marking the activation of the system. Sign up for one of the rides below to be part of history!
- NE Blakeley St & 24th Ave NE to Sandpoint Way NE & 40th Ave NE (Seattle Children’s)
- Burke Museum to UW Intramural Activities Building
- 6th Ave & Blanchard St to 2nd Ave & Vine St
- E Harrison St & Broadway Ave E to 11th Ave & Pine St (Cal Anderson Park)
- 9th Ave N & Mercer St to Fairview Ave N & Aloha St (Fred Hutch)
Weekend Neighborhood Rides | October 18th, 19th, 25th, 26th
Join us to kick-off Pronto’s first weekends, right in your own hood! We’ll be offering one FREE 24-Hour pass to the first 10 people arriving at each event. Come test out the system with a guided ride and celebration (swag, high fives and top secret fun) at the final stop!
Capitol Hill – Saturday, 10/18 @ 1PM
- Start at Pine & 16th
- End at Seattle Central Community College (Harvard & Pine)
South Lake Union – Sunday, 10/19 @ 1PM
- Start REI Flagship store (Yale & John)
- End at SLU Park
Seattle Center/Waterfront – Saturday, 10/25 @ 1 PM
- Start at Key Arena (1st Ave. N & Thomas)
- End at Pier 69 - Waterfront
Downtown – Sunday, 10/26 @ 1 PM
- Start at 2nd & University
- End at 6th & King
#PeopleForPronto Launch Celebration | October 23rd
Calling all you party people! Dust off those dancing shoes and join us, along with PeopleForBikes, Zipcar and Timbuk2 Seattle as we celebrate the launch of Pronto!
Music, drinks, photos, contests/raffles and more await! Additionally, the first 100 people to arrive will score a sweet shwag bag filled with extra special surprises from some of our favorite partners.

In addition, if you’re new to biking or bike share, we’ve partnered with Cascade Bicycle Club to host Pronto Street Skills - a free introductory class on urban biking and bike commuting.
